RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PUPILS, STUDENTS, AND PARENTS

  1. ADMISSION & SCHOOL FEES
    1. Pupils must complete the admission process online at www.nes.com.ng.
    2. Kindergarten pupils must submit a photograph of their immunization record cards.
    3. Full or agreed installment payment of school fees and necessary levies must be made before resumption but not later than two weeks after resumption (for day pupils/students only).
    4. For installment payments to be valid, parents must present a direct debit form from their bank.
  2. ATTENDANCE & PUNCTUALITY
    1. Resumption time: Pupils/students must arrive between 7:00 AM and 7:40 AM.
    2. Lateness begins at 7:45 AM and will incur disciplinary measures.
    3. College students will face appropriate disciplinary measures.
    4. Primary pupils will receive mild corrective actions.
    5. Parents are encouraged to prepare their wards early to ensure timely arrival.
    6. A minimum of 75% attendance per term is required to qualify for examinations.
    7. Absence for more than two consecutive weeks without formal notification may lead to suspension or withdrawal.
  3. DISCIPLINE & CODE OF CONDUCT
    1. Respect & Behavior
      1. Every student/pupil must respect one another and show greater respect to teachers/staff.
      2. Disrespectful behavior will incur disciplinary measures, parental invitation, suspension, or expulsion, depending on the severity of the offense.
    2. Language of Communication
      1. The primary languages of communication within the school environment are British English and Arabic. Other languages may be used only during designated periods or activities.
      2. Violators may face disciplinary measures.
    3. Immoral Acts
      1. Any immoral act, especially between students of opposite sexes, will result in disciplinary measures, parental invitation, suspension, or expulsion.
    4. Bullying & Violence
      1. Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or violence is strictly prohibited.
      2. Offenders will face expulsion, suspension, or other disciplinary measures.
    5. School Property
      1. Pupils/students must take good care of school property.
      2. Any damage due to carelessness will incur sanctions, including replacement, parental invitation, or suspension.
    6. Examination Malpractice
      1. Any form of cheating or assisting others in cheating will lead to suspension or expulsion.
    7. Academic Performance
      1. A minimum of 50% cumulative score is required for promotion.
      2. Students must complete all assigned work as part of their continuous assessment.
  4. SCHOOL UNIFORM & APPEARANCE
    1. Parents must ensure their wards wear only the approved school uniform, sportswear, and other designated outfits.
    2. Non-compliance will result in:
        First offense: A warning.
        Repeated offenses: Parental invitation.
        Continued violations: Denial of entry into school premises or suspension.
    3. Colored hairstyles, extravagant haircuts, or unauthorized fashion accessories are prohibited.
    4. Wearing inappropriate footwear or casual clothes during school hours is prohibited.
  5. USE OF ELECTRONIC GADGETS & CASH
    1. Mobile phones and unauthorized electronic devices are prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the school.
    2. Pupils/students are not allowed to bring cash to school.
    3. If found, unauthorized devices will be confiscated and returned at the end of the term.
  6. FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS & SCHOOL FEES
    1. Full payment of school fees and levies is required before a pupil/student is allowed to attend classes or sit for examinations.
    2. Full payment must also be made for:
        School bus services
        Boarding house accommodation
        Tahfiz Qur’an students
        At least three days before resumption.
    3. All after-school services and crèche fees are prepaid.
    4. Outstanding balances must be cleared at least one week after resumption.
    5. Refund requests for exceptional cases (such as relocation or medical emergencies) will be considered at the discretion of management.
    6. Textbooks, Stationery & Materials
        To maintain uniformity, parents are encouraged to purchase school-branded materials directly from the school. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
    7. At the beginning of every new session, the list of approved textbooks and other study materials will be available online. Parents may request a hard copy from school management. All pupils/students must buy textbooks and stationery from the school. The school does not allow parents to buy textbooks from outside to prevent pirated books and ensure uniformity.
    8. College students may swap their old textbooks, but this is optional.
    9. If a pupil/student loses a textbook or stationery item, parents must purchase a replacement from the school after a thorough search confirms the loss.
    10. All school-branded materials (uniforms, logos, exercise books, etc.) are the exclusive property of the school and must be purchased directly from the school.
    11. Parents who fail to collect their wards on time will be given a 30-minute grace period. Any delay beyond this will incur extra charges.
    12. Parents must endeavor to attend PTF meetings. If absent, they should read the minutes online (WhatsApp) or request a hard copy from the principal.
    13. Fees are subject to change with or without prior notice.
  7. HEALTH & SAFETY
    1. Parents must inform the school of any medical conditions or allergies their child has.
    2. Sick pupils must stay at home until they are fully recovered.
    3. Pupils/students must not bring harmful objects to school.
    4. The school provides only first aid. In case of emergencies, parents/guardians will be contacted for further medical attention.
  8. PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES & COMMUNICATION
    1. Parents must ensure their children comply with school academic, financial, and disciplinary requirements.
    2. Parents should communicate with school management through the proper channels.
    3. The school’s WhatsApp parents' forum must be checked regularly for school updates.
    4. Drivers employed by parents must be reported to the school authorities. Any changes must be communicated promptly. The school management will not be responsible for drivers collecting children without prior notification.
  9. SCHOOL EVENTS & RESTRICTIONS
    1. Birthday cakes and parties are not allowed. However, parents may send gifts, which will be distributed among pupils/students at the end of the term.
    2. Piracy of school assets (such as copying school uniforms, branded books, or logos) is illegal and may attract legal action.
    3. Any disputes between the school and parents/guardians will be addressed through arbitration or alternative dispute resolution before legal action is considered.
  10. CONCLUSION
    1. By making payments, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have enrolled a pupil/student at Nobel Enterprise and Technology Schools and agree to abide by these rules and regulations.
